As Christians, we are not to be OF the world, but IN the world – IN our daily Christian lives and IN missions.
IN OUR OWN COUNTRY – There is a heart and urgency to reach our own; those whom the Lord has delivered to our doorstep; our neighbours.
Here are the current Church planting efforts in Ontario and Quebec:
Igreja Methodist Livre (Toronto, ON)
The Open Door (Pierrefond, PQ)
The Third Space (Peterborough, ON)
The Way (Toronto, ON)
Eglise la lumiere (Gatineau, PQ)
EIMLM:Le Refuge (Montreal, PQ)
Le Gardeur (Repentigny, PQ)
Source d’eau vive (Sherbrooke, PQ)
The Good Shepherd (Toronto, ON)
Through the Roof (Flinton, ON)
The Story (Sarnia, ON)
Rustle (Kingston, ON)
Vision de la lumiere (St-Michel, PQ)
Nouvelle Naissance en Jesus-Christ (North Montreal, PQ)
These Churches have been planted as direct result of specific needs; the poor, urban centers, or needing a place of belonging in the family of God.
If you want more information on any of these efforts, go to www.fmc-canada.org , click on Ministry Area, then Growth Ministries, then Life Cycle Project. You can find the story, vision, and contact information. Maybe your Church can adopt another Church and help in a regular and relational way.
To support any of these efforts, send your donations through your Free Methodist Church, designated to Church Development, or speak to Jared Siebert at FMCiC Ministry Center for more information. jared@fmc-canada.org.
