FALL FESTIVAL 2007 REPORT
Fall Festival 2007 “Entering into the Rest” was held on October 19th and 20th at Trulls Road Free Methodist Church in Courtice, Ontario. There were 89 ladies in attendance participating in times of Worship, fellowship and various workshops.
Our speaker, Michelle Sim, ministered to the ladies sharing from her heart through her testimony, message and songs. Hebrews 4:11 was the basis for Michelle’s messge “Entering into the Rest”. Through Michelle’s frankness, humour and sound Biblical principles Michelle addressed many specific needs for the women and interacted one-on-one with a number of women listening, counselling and praying with those women.
The workshops offered included “Forgiveness” by Julie Jones, “The Benefits of Humour” by Joan Taylor, a Kathy Troccoli video “The Storm – Am I not still God?” and a craft led by Bess Lemmon.
Thank you to all who donated baskets and other items for the Silent Auction and for those who bid to help support the Bulgarian Women’s Outreach Project. Also, thank you for your generosity through the Saturday offering to help the Study Materials Project in Kenya.
Many thanks to the Fall Festival committee and the volunteers from the Trulls Road Church in serving Christ for hosting Fall Festival for the past three years during my Canada East Women’s Ministry position as VP of Fall Festival.
Respectfully submitted,
Susan March
